Genghis Khan International Airport
Following the deregulation caused by the new coronavirus infection, I went to check out the hot new international airport located in Sergelen Som, Tubu.
We drove about 52 kilometers south of the capital Ulaanbaatar using the new highway for the new international airport.
This international airport was built with the cooperation of the Japanese government. The official launch flight was from Ulaanbaatar to Tokyo. International flights have been transferred to the new airport. Buyant Ukhaa International Airport will continue to be used as a backup for charter and connecting flights.
I didn’t fly, but I enjoyed walking around the airport.
The coronavirus situation is still going on, but soon after visiting this airport, everything will be fine! I was able to think. I felt that the new airport opened the door to a new future.
We sincerely hope that many people will use this new airport to come to Mongolia and enjoy Mongolia.
